Resolutions or Goals?

Happy New Year! Every year my family and friends ask me if I've made resolutions. Every year I tell them yes and what they are, but lack the motivation to try to accomplish them. Except this year! I've decided I'm not calling them resolutions because they are my goals. And even if I don't accomplish them in their entirety I will at least be working on them consistently. I have listed them below.
- Meet my 100 pound weight loss goal.
I have already lost 60 pounds, so the next 40 pounds will be easier. My reward is not food, a new handbag, or even a vacation. It is a lifelong bucket list item, to apply for the Amazing Race on CBS. My best friend has offered to go with me as long as I meet my weight goal. She has hated seeing me unhappy and unhealthy, so she is willing to put her life on hold for 6 weeks to give me the ultimate reward. We will talk more about her in another post.
- Gather the funds to get "Anna the Happy Water Droplet" published.
I already have a publishing contract, but can't execute it.
- Travel on a long weekend somewhere I haven't been at least 3 states away.
I try to keep them simple and straight forward so they are easy to track. Comment on social media with one or more of your 2018 goals/resolutions.

P.S. Don't be afraid to wander!
